Jessica Alampay

I am an American writer and creative living in Claremont, California. My work includes personal essays and reflections, as well as podcast and book recommendations. I am particularly interested in emotional wellness, parenting, living abroad, language learning, and food.

 

I draw inspiration from The Philippines, Italy, Belgium, France, and the state that keeps welcoming me back, California. 
 

In 2020 I collaborated with Professor Giovanni Ortega for Theatre Without Borders’ Kanto Cuentos to create the short film Travel is Prohibited.

 

Together with Italy-based American soprano Fé Avouglan, I am producing a short musical video series for children.

 

I am in the early stages of writing a novel set in 1950s Manila.
