Why do I write? I write because I think of writing. All the time.
In my everyday experiences I consider how situations I’ve witnessed or experienced can be recorded, what they mean, and what they've taught me. I think about how lessons from my life might help someone else. I like organizing my thoughts and processing them in this way.
I write because it is one of my favorite things to do; and because I want to do it well. I love using the qualities and skills that writing requires: creativity, deep consideration, reflection, analysis, and a willingness to share.
I write because I have things to say, and stories to tell. I also write because I can't keep things to myself. My favorite café, an excellent podcast, a moving book, a lesson learned while parenting - I can't stop myself from sharing.
I finally decided to create this website to gather my reflections and suggestions. But more than anything, I created this website to properly start my new life as a writer.
